We are proud to present this year’s Corporate Sustainability Report. Being a responsible business is a key strategic priority for our firm. This report is designed to show the progress that we have made to achieve our aims.

As a law firm, we can lead the way through our pro bono efforts across our network to provide access to justice to all those who would otherwise be unrepresented. As a business, we strive to be as sustainable as possible while always trying to do better. And, as citizens in our communities, we work hard to support those who need our help the most. In 2024, we dedicated over 259,000 hours to Responsible Business efforts, including over 175,000 Pro Bono hours.

Underpinning all of our work as a law firm is our belief in the rule of law. That rule is the foundation of a just, inclusive, and economically successful society. As a truly global law firm, we are uniquely positioned to uphold and advance these principles through our legal expertise, our global and local reach, and our deep relationships with our clients and business partners.

We cultivate a culture of opportunity and belonging for our people to continue to attract, retain, and develop the best talent. We will continue to invest in resources to help us minimize our impact on the environment and remain on track to reach both our 2030 and 2050 greenhouse gas emissions reductions targets.

Transparency and accountability of corporate sustainability efforts are being increasingly demanded by our people, our clients, and wider stakeholders. In response, and for the first time, we have prepared our report with reference to the Global Reporting Initiative framework (GRI). The contents are guided by our recent double materiality assessment, which identified the topics most important to our stakeholders and to our success as a business.

While there is still work ahead, we are motivated by the progress we have made to date, and we are ready to play our part in creating a more sustainable future.
