The Future of Connected Sports & Entertainment.

Smart stadiums, fan engagement platforms, biometric access, and real-time data at scale

Sports, media, and entertainment organizations are increasingly built on digital platforms, connected venues, biometric technologies, and real-time fan engagement. Streaming, mobile ticketing, wearables, in‑venue connectivity, sports betting, and global data analytics now sit at the core of how leagues and teams operate. At the same time, these innovations introduce heightened cybersecurity exposure, complex privacy obligations, and fast‑moving regulatory expectations across jurisdictions.

Building a cybersecurity coalition: The ISAC initiative

In partnership with the NFL, NBA, MLB, NHL and other entertainment organizations, we spearheaded the creation of the Sports, Media and Entertainment Information-Sharing and Analysis Center (ISAC). Recognized by the U.S. government as “a significant advancement” in cybersecurity governance, this groundbreaking initiative strengthens resilience against cyber threats and emerging technology risks. Once fully implemented, the ISAC will unite sports and entertainment entities with cybersecurity vendors to share intelligence on vulnerabilities and evolving threats. Former CISA Director Jen Easterly praised the ISAC as a model for organized collaboration in combating cyber risks. This effort underscores our ability to design industry-specific solutions that foster a secure, informed, and interconnected community.
